How do you start your day?
Do you get everything done every day as you have planned?
Do you feel content and satisfied at the end of the day?
Do you get a “feel good” sensation in your body, as you go into bed and when you wake up?
Do you feel in control of your life and time?
If the answer is no to any of these questions, I have two simple suggestions.
Step 1 When you wake up, before you do anything else, sit still and focus on your breathing for between 20 and 30 minutes. If you feel you cannot sit entirely still and just breathe, something is wrong.
If we want good focus throughout the day, we MUST be able to sit still – just breathing.
Focusing seems to be an issue for many people and if so, we need to practice stillness, going inside ourselves. To be healthy, radiant, and harmonious, we need to go deeper inside for some time every day, listening to our inner voice. That voice is utterly important to pay full attention to.
If you leave your house unattended, someone might break into your home, causing damage. Similarly, we need to be present as we go inside our body and mind, so we can catch any disharmony in time.
Step 2 Write a list with all the things you need and want to get done TODAY.
When you get a quiet, still moment in the morning and after making that list, the day is already wonderful! This makes it a great start, and the good feeling will follow you the entire day.
If you feel distracted by the things you need to do, you can write your list before the quiet moment. Meditation is very simple. It is only to sit still and relax your body. Focusing on your breathing helps minimize distraction from ongoing thoughts. Meditation is not thinking. It is listening to your inner voice. Your intuition.
Do this for a month and I think you will be amazed by the result. Better structure of your day, less stress, better focus, and more balance. You will increase your energy and your creativity so the outcome is only positive. Listen and pay attention to your inner voice, magic will start to happen.
Good luck and stay in peace with yourself!
